The Heidelberg (formally linotype) Topaz flatbed scanner is a
48 bit repro quality scanner, with award winning Linocolor software.
It can scan anything from transparencies to books to objects,
and produces excellent and consistent results. All our scans are
checked to match the originals and are cleaned up. Our operators
are happy to discuss your project and interpret the imagery to
your spec.

PDF
service
Info
We now offer a PDF output service. All our printers are
PDF compatible and we can convert your files (Quark, FreeHand
etc) into high and low resolution PDF files, either for remote
screen checking/proofing or for web or print. We can also create
interactive PDF files for use on the web or as standalone PDF
documents (eg order forms, sounds etc).
PDF is not a mature or standard format, it is variable and needs
to be set up correctly. Our standard charge for converting documents
to PDF files: £15
Creating interactive PDF files: £60 per hour
If you wish to convert your digital files to PDF files you can

page.

Typesetting
By experienced skilled staff for that extra typographic finish

Colour
Retouching and Artworking
By experienced skilled staff able to make colour corrections and
adjustments, image manipulation, clipping paths and masks. For
charges ask for a quote.
ADS
File Transfer
The transfer of adverts in a common format (eps or pdf) directly
to newspapers or publications that are set up to use ADS in their
production departments. Our ADS charge is £25 plus £1
per Mb over 10Mb.
Quickcut
File Transfer
The transfer of adverts in a common format (pdf) to Quickcut's
server, via the net, which stores the ad until it is called for
by the newspaper or publication. The icc profiles and specs for
each publication are different and vary to match the publications
presses. The profiles have to be manually input into the artwork's
image files. Artwork for Quickcut should be supplied as open files,
not as images imported into an eps and not as a pdf. The ability
to send files via Quickcut is more open, we can now supply News
International Group Newspapers and the Guardian Group. Please
call or email us for a quote. As an indication our set-up charge
is £45 for a colour ad plus 10p per square centimetre. A
colour proof is £25.
FTP
File Transfer
The direct transfer of files to or from a specified web site.
Our FTP charge is £1 per Mb, larger files upon quotation.
CD
& DVD authoring
Info
We can burn up to 650Mb of data with each CD burn to any
of the popular formats (eg PC, joilet, mac, audio, MP3 etc). For
DVD's we burn just over 4Gig to various specs. We can also print
labels and personalise disks. Please call for quotation.

We can send your documents anywhere in the world via ISDN. Click
