Info
We use two very different printers. The Agfa 7000 is a drum based
output device, with guaranteed registration and capable of outputting
half-tones of 300 lpi at 3600 dpi and is the bigger machine of
the two with a paper width of 652 x 558 mm. The other output device
is the Linotronic 300, a smaller capstan device, it has a maximum
resolution of 2540 dpi and a maximum paper width of 305 mm x any
length.
Both devices are attached to a Harlequin RIP NT server which is
Postscript level 3 compatible, very fast and can print four thousand
levels of grey so banding is rarely a problem. Both machines are
calibrated to press conditions and can guarantee registration
and excellent repeatability with previously produced films. Bromides
and films are output at 2400/2540 dpi as a standard.

Using the actual colour film sets from our imagesetters this system
produces 'contract proofs' for comparison by printers for colour
accuracy. An industry standard, this system uses CMYK foils to
build up the colour image one colour on top of the other. The
final proof is named because it is legally deemed to be the 'contract'
to which the printer has to match, thus saving any argument about
colour accuracy. Produced using Imation (3M) equipment with special
care in terms of cleanliness and accuracy.

Using our long experience of working with digital files we offer
our print management service. By obtaining quotes from many sources
we provide the best prices for you. We check your files before
they are sent off and liaise with the printer, checking the work
before it is delivered back. We offer both Digital and Litho solutions
