The Epson 5000 is a CMYK based colour inkjet printer/proofer.
It has been widely acclaimed as an accurate colour proof and is
widely seen as an acceptable digital contract proof. Our epson
5000 proofer has been profiled and matched to our Imation Matchprint
system. We us a Best rip which makes for high colour accuracy.
It is ideal if you need to send an accurate proof to a publication
such as a magazine and have sent your work files digitally. We
can print files as separations so that each colour lays down in
succession imitating the print process, this hightlight any trapping
or fit problesm. It
can print a file at oversize A3 size with trims.

Rainbows
Info
The Rainbow proofer is a dye-sublimation colour proofer. It prints
onto a specially formulated, coated Matchprint paper, that emulates
an analogue proof from film. The Rainbow is CMYK based and is
widely recognised as an accurate digital contract proof.

Info
The colour laser can output onto two paper weights, our standard
is 100 gsm. Also available is 135 gsm. We use Mellotex. We regularly
calibrate the copier by downloading custom curves to the attached
Efi-Fiery rip, but due to the toner based system, colour can be
inconsistent and is CMYK based. Depending on images/file size,
the copier can print out one page every half minute. It can also
be used as a general colour copier for flat copies (see our price
list).
Colour laser outputs are especially useful for quick colour comps
where very accurate colour is not essential and you need 10-100
proofs turned around quickly.
