We will convert all images manually to the destination profile,
ensuring the best quality output for each specific bitmap image.
Artwork for Quickcut should be supplied as open files, not as
images imported into an eps and not as a pdf. We are accredited

Digital Contract Proofs
We have a Colorbus RIP running an Epson7600 for PPA/DP10 standard
digital contract proofing and an HP1050 for Newsprint Proofing.
We are accredited proofers for the Guardian, The Times, The Sunday
Times, The News of the World and The Sun and we can proof to any

Epson
5000 'Presentation' Proofs
The Epson 5000 is a 1440dpi inkjet proofer. We use a BEST RIP
to produce high quality colour accurate proofs commonly used for
presentation purposes. It can print a file at oversize A3 size
with trims. Printable

Posters
We have an HP3500 Its maximum image area is 1370 mm (54 inches)
x any length. We can output onto satin, gloss and matt stock.

Matchprints
Using analogue film we can provide traditional Matchprint 'Contract
Proofs' for the start of a campaign so you test specific halftone
screens and make sure that your graphics will print correctly.

Colour
Lasers
Output onto 100gsm mellotex stock, colour laser outputs are especially
useful for quick colour comps where very accurate colour is not
essential and you need a quick turnaround. PRICES
Scanning
service
The Heidelberg (formerly Linotype) Topaz flatbed scanner is a
48 bit scanner with award winning Linocolor software. It can scan
anything from transparencies to books to objects, and produces
excellent and consistent results. All our scans are checked to
match the originals and dust and scratches cleaned up. We usually
supply CMYK Tiffs to a standard Euroscale ICC profile, however,
our colour conversion from the original LAB scan can be adapted
to your specific requirements.

PDF
services
We offer many PDF services. All our printers are PDF compatible
and we can convert your files (Quark, FreeHand etc) into high
and low resolution PDF files, either for remote screen checking/proofing
or for web or print. Pass4Press (PPA) is rapidly becoming a standard,
often required by publications, and we can create PPA PDFs for
you to the current PPA requirements/definitions. We can also create
interactive PDF files for use on the web or as standalone PDF
documents (eg order forms, sounds etc). Our standard charge for
converting documents to PDF files £15. Creating interactive PDF
files £60 per hour
Typesetting
We can typeset anything you require from annual reports to business

Retouching

Our experienced staff are able to make colour corrections and
adjustments and are skilled in compositing, image manipulation,
clipping paths and masks. Please call to discuss your project

ADS
File Transfer
The transfer of adverts in a common format (eps or pdf) directly
to newspapers or publications that are set up to use ADS in their
production departments. Our ADS charge is £25 plus £1
per Mb over 10Mb.
FTP
Services
The direct transfer of files to or from a specified server. We
are able to set up temporary or permanent FTP folders to send/recieve/store
files. You can also upload jobs to us via FTP using the following

CD
& DVD authoring
We can burn up to 650Mb of data with each CD burn to any
of the popular formats (eg PC, joilet, mac, audio, MP3 etc). For
DVD's we burn just over 4Gig to various specs.
ISDN
We can send your documents anywhere in the world via ISDN. Click

We can now see your job right through to digital or litho print.
