Here are some examples of artworking projects we have undertaken.
We have chosen these examples to try to illustrate the wide variety
of projects we are involved with utilising a broad understanding
of artworking principles inluding: design, layout, company branding,
cutter guides, foreign languages, advertisement re-purposing and
supply. |
|
|
Example 1: |
For this job we were supplied with existing branding artwork (images,
shapes and fonts). From the supplied files, working in Adobe Illustrator
we had to create the desired artwork/layout and supply final EPS
files for use in print and JPEG files to specific pixel sizes
for internet use. For this client following brand guidelines is
particularly important. |

Example 2: |
We were supplied with complex Illustrator artwork from a design
agency and were asked to do major amends and layout alterations
befor resizing and supply to various global publications. |

Example 3: |
Again we were supplied with the artwork from a design agency.
The artwork had been created using QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator
and Adobe Photoshop. Our job was to check the files, optimise
them and prepare artwork for re-purposing. We then had to typeset
new text for a number of foreign languages (eg French, German
and Italian), as well as placing Japanese and Chinese translations
and supply resized files globally for various publications. Supply
was most commonly PDF, sometimes source files on CD and also films
and Matchprints. |

Example 4: |
This job was fairly straightforward. Working to a specific size
we had to create a layout file incorporating a cutter guide for
a folder with a logo placed on the front. Since it was a spot
colour job and we were supplied with an RGB logo we used the original
TIFF to create a DCS2 multi-channel spot colour image. |

images and word files and asked to create a flyer. Final supply
was as PDF. |

Example 6: |
We were asked to create an advertisement, following company style,
using supplied images and text. |
